HONEYWELL INSTANT ALERT FOR SCHOOLS:

The Honeywell Instant Alert  For Schools is the essential tool for notification of an emergency situation, cancellations, early dismissals, and changes in schedules which affect our school families.  The Instant Alert will be activated to deliver a single, clear message to parents or guardians by telephone, cell phone, e-mail, pager, or PDA in any combination. Instant Alert for Schools is internet based, allowing each family to maintain a secure, password protected online profile.  Each family is responsible for keeping the profile updated with current information (https://instantalert.honeywell.com). Maintaining the accuracy of the family Instant Alert profile is very important in order for the school to make contact with the family.

EMERGENCY CLOSINGS:

School may be closed in the event of severe, inclement weather. School closings will be announced on radio stations WKYW (1060AM) and WNPV (1440 AM). The radio code number for Saint Stanislaus Parish School is #402. The Honeywell Instant Alert system will also be activated.

EMAIL:

Communication between parent / guardian and teacher is vitally important to a child's progress.  Saint Stanislaus Parish School recognizes that email (electronic mail) can be an effective form of communication within the organization and with the school community, in addition to phone calls and face-to-face meetings.  The guidelines and an authorization form can be found in the Handbook if parents wish to initiate email communication with your child's teacher.  The PDF is available here for download: Classroom Email Authorization

HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EMAIL:

Weekly emails are sent to all enrolled families outlining the major events for the week, hot lunch schedules, and other information related to school activities.  Families can initiate this email communication by following the directions contained in the PDF document: Home and School Email Signup
